A young South Asian female presented to the emergency with loss of vision in the right eye since 3 days. There is history of NVD with placental abruption 3 days ago for which the patient was given 6 units of platelets. Detailed ophthalmic examination was done and patient was found to have PL with inaccurate PR in the affected eye. Signs and symptoms of panophthalmitis were noted on subsequent evaluation. Patient was started on intravenous and topical antibiotics along with cycloplegics and lateral canthotomy was done in subsequent time to relieve intraorbital pressure.
