Abstract
A 7- year old child was admitted in the hospital for psoas abscess and presented to us with a swelling in left eye in nasal aspect causing eccentric proptosis, diplopia since 1 day. There was no history of defective vision or fever. On examination- conjunctival congestion was present with dystopia, mass in inferonasal aspect. MRI Orbit suggested pseudotumour in left eye. Next day, the swelling in left eye increased in size with purulent discharge from the lesion. Under aseptic precautions left eye incision and drainage was done and swab was sent for culture sensitivity. The child was started on systemic and topical antibiotics and the swelling reduced in size by 1 week.
