FP1762 : What the mind does not know, the eye can not see

Abstract

A 67 year old diabetic female came with mild blurring of vision both eyes. She had been seen earlier by two ophthalmologists and reassured. she required some assistance to sit at slitlamp. Her BCVA was 6/6, N6, colour vision normal, pupils brisk with normal fundus and full extraocular movements. On further evaluation, she revealed increased blurring of vision on left side and mild imbalance during walking. HFA was done which showed Left homonymous hemianopia. Urgent MRI was done which showed acute infarct in Right PCA territory. She was referred to the neurologist and treated with LMWH.
