FP2382 : Role of multimodal imaging in diagnosis of CNV overlying an anomalous choroidal vessel.

Abstract

A 66 year old female presented with complaints of blurred vision in left eye for 6 months with best corrected vision of 6/36. Fundus examination showed an orange lesion with a tail-like projection at the centre of the macula which was considered to be polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy based on FFA and ICGA findings. Later OCT and OCTA was done which confirmed the presence of dilated choroidal vessel, subretinal fluid with irregular pigment epithelial detachment with underlying neovascular network. Based on OCT-Angiographic feature diagnosis of Type 1 CNV overlying an anomalous choroidal vessel was made. She was treated with intravitreal Ranibizumab which showed no much change, hence switched to intravitreal Aflibercept which showed resolution of subretinal fluid after 3 doses.
