FP1771 : Anaemic retinopathy with macular Haemorrhage : A rare cause of vision loss

Abstract

A 38 year old male presented to ophthal OPD AMCH Dibrugarh with complaint of sudden painless loss of vision in left eye since 2-3 days V/A 1/60 L/E.patient was earlier admitted in medicine department for fever & jaundice. External ocular examination was within normal limit. Patient was alcoholic. He was then subjected to fundoscopy and OCT macula. Roth spots in both retina along with sub macular haemorrhage in left eye was found. Patient was given anti-inflammatory eye drop and then asked for follow up . After 4- 5 moths his hamorrhage got resolved and vision was restored.
