FP1198 : INTRAOCULAR LENS OPACIFICATION: A RARE EVENT AFTER CATARACT SURGERY

Abstract

A 67 year old male presented with gradual, progressive diminution of vision in left eye since 1 year. Patient underwent cataract surgery with intraocular lens (IOL) implantation in capsular bag in left eye 4 years back. His UCVA was counting fingers(CF) ½ m in R.E. & 6/24 in L.E & with pinhole CF ½ m & 6/12 respectively. On torch light examination, white reflex over pupillary area was observed in L.E. On slit lamp examination, whole of IOL was opacified.
