Abstract
To describe an unusual development of sub-incisional choroidal detachment due to accidental slippage of the infusion cannula into the suprachoroidal space in a case of post-vitrectomised planned glued IOL surgery. After silicon oil removal a massive choroidal detachment was developed just beneath the incision site. The infusion port was exchanged quickly and choroidal detachment was settled accordingly. The rest of the surgery was uneventful. A so-called planned secondary IOL surgery can give rise to some nightmarish unforeseen complications. One should act promptly and logically to overcome such hurdles. Financial disclosure: None.
