Abstract

With easy & rapid accessibility, social media has become an avenue to exchange information, increase the outreach of institution or journal. We would like to throw emphasis of its role in our residency program. It is a useful tool to supplement and make learning more interesting. A survey regarding personal & professional use of social media to study its impact on Ophthalmology was conducted & distributed across India. To the best of our knowledge, no such survey has been conducted in India. A total of 136 responses were collected. Being only a click away, Social Media is an upcoming and trending way of learning,sharing & creating awareness.
