Abstract

Angioid streaks (AS) with choroidal neovascular membrane (CNVM) in Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum (PXE) present a complex ocular challenge. PXE, a rare genetic disorder, manifests in AS characterized by calcified breaks in Bruch's membrane. CNVM complicates matters, leading to vision loss. Here we present a case of a 44 year old female with complaints of DOV since 6 months. Diagnosis relies on advanced imaging, with anti-VEGF therapy as a primary treatment for CNVM. A multidisciplinary approach and psychosocial support are essential. Research is pivotal for better understanding and management of this intricate condition.
