Abstract

This video demonstrates the role of modern technology (Z8 femto laser), along with techniques of endocapsular ring implant, two capsular support segment scleral fixation and ultra Depth focus IOL Implantation in a young patient with spherophakic lens induced high myopia of -24 D.
Zonules are very week 360 degree. The options were to do lensectomy with SFIOL/ iris claw IOL. But this video shows how to preserve the capsular bag, maintaining the bag in its place , fixing it to sclera and in the bag implantation of Ultradepth focus IOL to reduce dependency on Spectacles and improve lifestyle of patient
