The advent of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) has widened the surgical armamentarium beyond the conventional trabeculectomy. MIGS have gained popularity due to sparing of conjunctiva, lesser dependence on fibrosis, minimal risks and good surgical outcomes, particularly for mild to moderate open angle glaucoma. In this video we shall demonstrate the trabecular meshwork approach for MIGS through angle surgeries. One needs to master the art of intra-operative gonioscopy and learn to work under high magnification to do justice to these procedures. This video aims to demonstrate the technique to perform angle surgeries including, modification required in patient’s and surgeon’s positioning, settings at microscope along with description of the nuances involved in these techniques using examples of I-stent, KDB goniotomy and Bent angle needle goniectomy. In nutshell, this video would provide important tips and tricks to perform angle surgeries to achieve the optimal outcomes.
