Abstract

Spontaneous subluxation of globe : unsettling presentation.
•Not frequently encountered in the OPD.
•The luxation of globe results when the globe’s equator bulges out anteriorly past the eyelid aperture.
•The contraction of the orbicularis muscle further displaces the globe anteriorly causing it to be trapped outside eyelid aperture, which might limit the spontaneous reduction and extraocular motility.
