Abstract

There are many situations – both intra operative and postoperative – in which going gets extremely tough for a cataract surgeon. These situations include intraoperative rock hard eye, misbehaving iris, IOL damage, IOL getting stuck in the plunger, wound related problems, severe striate keratopathy , post operative inflammation, endophthalmitis, uncooperative patient, IOL calculation errors, unexplained poor visual recovery , unsatisfied patient despite excellent visual recovery.
