Abstract
Cataract surgery today has become a refractive procedure with patients expectingemmetropia
and freedom from glasses. The success of cataract surgery is measured by itsrefractive outcome
which is one of the main indicators for patient's satisfaction. Thiscourse which has very
experienced instructors will touch upon all the available biometrydevices, newer generation
formulae, role of intra-operative abberometry, accuracy fortoric IOL implantation and special
situations like post refractive cataract surgery. Management of refractive surprises after cataract
surgery will also be covered. This course will help both the beginning cataract surgeon and the
advanced specialist to obtain better results after cataract surgery.
