Brolucizumab has been introduced as the longest acting Anti-VEGF on present date, but the molecule is surrounded by myths and mysteries. The IC aims to educate the audience about the academic & clinical evidence about Brolucizumab to enable every practitioner to correctly embed the drug in their practice, without being misled by industry driven propaganda. The applications in neovascular AMD will be discussed along with our published Indian data. Our published Indian data on Diabetic retinopathy will be shown. The novel applications of Brolucizumab will be presented. The current and translational research on newer Anti-VEGFs will be discussed along with the all-important financial burden of Anti-VEGFs on our developing economy.
