This instruction course purports to showcase a community ophthalmic screening methodology which will cater to the unaddressed issues of documentation, active patient participation, accurate clinical data management and referrals in tribal settings, leveraging technology and portable devices.
The course highlights a methodology which is SMART: S- Socially Engaging, M- Manageable, A-Archivable, R-Reliable, T-Tech Enabled.
By the end of this instruction course, the target audience (community ophthalmologists, faculty and residents) will be able to:
1. Formulate ophthalmic screening program which is documentable and reliable
2. Apply appropriate Applications and portable devices for clinical data collection.
