Posterior Capsule tear is an inevitable complication which every Cataract Surgeon is bound to experience.By following the right principles this complication can be managed effectively enough to provide an outcome that is almost indistinguishable from a routine case.This Video course aims at teaching the best practices in the management of PC tear. Using high quality video clips we aim to teach, tips for early diagnosis of a PC tear , prevent a nucleus drop, timely conversion to SICS, and anterior vitrectomy techniques. Surgical pearls to prevent anterior hyaloid rupture in the presence of a PC tear and also techniques to prevent the enlargement of the PC tear during anterior vitrectomy will be shared.Techniques for implanting IOLs in the presence of a PC tear will be demonstrated .By the end of the course the attendee would be aware of the various techniques of managing a PC tear which would yield very good outcomes.
