A time when premium IOLs are used during spectacle-free cataract surgery, increasing the amount of stress that surgeons can handle. The empowerment of newer IOL Power calculation formulas, advancements in PCA and toric calculations, and newer biometric instruments, Optimising A constant, in diverse cataract surgery scenarios are the main topics of this IC.
Newer biometry equipment measuring a range of variables will be covered in the course, coupled with emergence of different newer formula selections with incorporating online ESCRS calculators.
Participants will get in depth knowledge of newer formulas like Kane, Hill RBF V 3.0, Barret suits, EVO, Ray tracing formulas, etc.
The ability to calculate IOL Power in a variety of challenging scenarios, such as extremely long or short eyes, silicone oil-filled eyes, triple surgeries, post-refractive surgery eyes, pediatric patients, secondary implants, and toric calculators with PCA & Centroid values, would benefit participants.
