Abstract
This is a case report of 11 year old girl, who presented to the Ophthalmology OPD, Regional Eye Hospital Kunool with the complaints of limitation of outward movement of left eye since birth. No significant systemic history was noted. On examination Vision in Right Eye was 6/6 and in Left Eye was 6/60 which improved to 6/36 with -1.75D spherical. Left Face Turn was noted. Anterior Segment Examination was found to be normal. Extra ocular movement restriction was noted in Left Eye in Abduction, Levoelevation and Levodepression gazes associated with narrowing of palpebral fissure on Adduction in Left Eye. No movement was noted during cover, uncover tests. Family History was noted significant. Birth History revealed consanguineous marriage with no other significant details. A Diagnosis of Type-1 Duane's Retraction Syndrome was made. Patient is currently using spectacles for Refractive Correction.
