Abstract
Aim: To compare lens and iris parameters in ACG and OAG patients on AS-OCT.
Methods: 81 eyes with PACG and 32 eyes with POAG underwent AS-OCT by CASIA2, evaluating 0-180 degree anterior chamber angle.
Results: Lens vault higher in ACG (0.59 ± 0.3) than OAG (0.22 ± 0.17). Lens thickness higher in ACG (4.72 ± 0.4) vs OAG(4.34 ± 0.25). Anterior chamber depth shallower in ACG (2.11± 0.33) than OAG (2.82±0.20). Relative lens vault (LV/ACD) higher in ACG (0.22±0.11) vs OAG (0.071±0.05). Iris Curve more in OAG (0.13 ±0.1) vs ACG (0.09± 0.1). Iris Area more in OAG (1.41 ±0.32) vs ACG (1.30 ± 0.35). Iris thickness at 750µ in ACG(0.38± 0.09) vs OAG (0.35 ±0.08) and IT2000 in ACG (0.38± 0.9) vs OAG (0.37±0.1). Iridotrabecular index higher in ACG (30.0 %±19.8) vs OAG (6.6 % ±9.2).
Conclusion: ACG patients have a bulkier lens with increased anterior curvature (LV). Iris thickness is found to be slightly more in ACG eyes.
