Abstract

Study design-Thiswas a multi-centre,prospective,interventional,open label study reflecting real world practice.Patients were instructed not to stop existing anti-glaucoma therapy,Netarsudil 0.02%was added in one group and effets were studied till end of 12-14 months.Purpose-The primary purposewas to sturdy IOP lowering effect of Netarsudil in patients with uncontrolled POAG.Methods-60 patients with POAG were selected with IOP between18-20 mm hg with stable visual fields and divided in 2 groups,in 1group patients were allowed to continue 1-3 antiglaucoma drugs and in other group Netarsudil0.02% eye drops were added,IOP lowering effect was seen from 1st month of thetapy and checked at 1st,5th,9th,13th month of study,IOP checked by Goldmann appln.tonometer on every visit.Fields and OCTRNFL are checked at 5th and 13th month and effects were noted.Results-Group receiving Netarsudil showed IOP lowering effect from 1st month of therapy and maintained till end of study,fields less progressed.
