FP0722 : Ant seg OCT and UBM in diagnosis of ocult Scleral tears post trauma

Abstract

Two cases of occult scleral perforation post trauma, first case was confirmed using gentle UBM-B scan, Other case was confirmed using ant seg OCT. Which lead to know the extent and location of scleral tear and its management.

Use of UBM has to be gentle and judicial so has to prevent conversion of cult tear to obvious tear over, which ANT SEG OCT has an advantage of being non contact however has limitation of not having deeper penetration and limited functionality. However based on case to basis both ANT SEG and UBM can be used to diagnose occult tears in terms of there location of tear, extent of tear, which helps in palling of surgical intervention.

So we presenting the two cases where ant seg OCT and UBM were used to confirm the diagnosis.
