Abstract
Study Design-Cross sectional study.Purpose-Clinical study of various injuries in RTA & its management in a tertiary care hospital.Method-146 patients included from July'22 to Aug'23,were examined clinically with VA,anterior & posterior segment and radiological imaging.Datas were analysed using microsoft excel 2019 software.Demographic datas,time of presentation were noted with the type of ocular injuries.Repair procedures were done after the evaluation.Result-Out of 146 pts,76 pts were of 30-40 yrs age group.M:F was 3:1.Left eye involvement was more.Time of presentation were more within 24 hrs of the RTA.Most common type of injuries are lid edema, ecchymosis, SCH and lid tear. Repair procedures were done accordingly.Conclusion-Ocular injury following RTA is one of the common cause of ophthalmological morbidity.Timely intervention of these injuries with coordination with other specialities lead to better visual outcome and decrease the morbidity.
