Abstract
Rhabdomyosarcoma is the most common Malignant tumor of Orbit, is very rare in neonatal age. A 3 day old male baby was presented in Ophthalmology Department of GMCH with disseminated disease but unfortunately, had a fatal outcome with central nervous system progression despite conventional Management. Often at this neonatal age, the disease management is quiet challenging and outcome is dismal despite intensive multimodal therapy. Newborn baby had severe left exophthalmia which was progressively increasing over days. CEMRI brain and orbit was done which revealed Rhabdomyosarcoma of left orbit infiltrating into adjacent structures. Biopsy was carried out which showed Alveolar type orbital Rhabdomyosarcoma. Baby was referred to state cancer institute and intensive chemotherapy was initiated but baby died within one month due to disease progression.
