Abstract
A 53 year old female first presented in 2019 with LE VMT for which VR surgery was done following which she developed full thickness macular hole for which a Re VR surgery was done following which hole did not close, patient's vision was 6/24 in LE, RE was within normal limits and the vision was 6/6. Patient was not keen on further surgical intervention in LE. Patient was regularly following and developed drop in vision in RE in september 2022. On examination BCVA in RE was 6/12 and LE 6/24. RE was noted to have a small full thickness macular hole , the patient was not keen on surgery as the vision was 6/12 and wanted only medical management. Patient was advised Dorzolamide eye drops TDS in RE and 2months post starting the eye drops the hole started to close and the vision was noted to be 6/6P, by March 2023 the hole closed completely and the patient's vision was 6/6P, N6.
