FP3072 : Beyond the years – CNVM secondary to Focal choroidal excavation in a young patient.

Abstract

A 35 year old male patient presented with distortion of vision in right eye (OD) since 1 month, with best corrected visual acuity of 6/6 in both eyes with N8 in OD and N6 in OS. Anterior segment was normal in both eyes. Fundus examination revealed sub foveal greyish lesion with overlying haemorrhage suggestive of active Choroidal neovascular membrane (CNVM), which was confirmed by fundus flourescein angiography (FFA). Enhanced depth imaging on spectrum domain Ocular coherence tomography (SD-OCT) revealed CNVM with Focal choroidal excavation of non confirming type. Anti VEGF mono therapy was given with resolution of CNVM while the size and configuration of FCE remained stable.
