Abstract

3D printing technology has emerged as a groundbreaking tool in the field of ophthalmology, revolutionizing the way we design and manufacture devices for eye care. we demonstrate the journey of 5 innovative concept instruments in ophthalmology being brought to reality with the magic of 3d printing. The whole process of learning the basics of 3d printing and designing is explained. The software and website for the process is demonstrated. narrative also touches upon the economic and logistical advantages of 3D printing in ophthalmology. With the ability to produce prototypes and devices in-house, institutions can potentially reduce costs and shorten production timelines, ultimately benefiting both healthcare providers and patients.
