Abstract

PURPOSE – To report a curious case of bilateral optic neuritis
METHOD – 36 year old female presented with bilateral defective vision for past 1 week , Ophthalmolgical examination and Neuroimaging leads to the diagnosis of bilateral optic neuritis.
RESULTS – Intravenous steroids for 5 days followed by long term tapering of oral steroids results in complete remission of all symptoms and visual acuity, visual field and fundus returns back to normal.
