Abstract
The purpose of this case series is to discuss clinical features, radiological findings, and the management of the patients with varied presentations of orbital-blow in fractures. The injury should be suspected in any patient with ocular proptosis associated with an orbital fracture. High-resolution CT scans are particularly useful in confirming the diagnosis. The incidence of associated ocular injury is significant, and a detailed ophthalmological assessment is indicated. Definitive repair of the orbital injury should be performed as soon as the general condition of the patient permits. Under direct inspection, fractures are disimpacted and reduced, and the orbit is decompressed. Residual abnormalities and undesirable sequelae can thereby be minimised.
