Abstract
This study examines anatomical outcomes of Intravitreal AntiVEGF and Laser therapy in treatable ROP. A retrospective study of 180 infants referred to Ophthalmology Department of a tertiary health care centre, for screening of ROP, out of which 15 infants were diagnosed with Stage 3 ROP, AP ROP, Zone 1/ Zone 2 posterior NVE, and were given intravitreal AntiVEGF and laser therapy. Mean birth weight of babies was 1.47 +/- 0.32 kg. Gestational age at birth was 32.25 +/-1.32 weeks
This study analyses the outcomes of Intravitreal Anti VEGF and Laser therapy in treatable ROP. Through pre-injection and pre-laser therapy and post-injections and post-laser therapy fundoscopic assessments on follow-ups, the study examines the anatomical outcomes achieved in the sample. Laser treatment was given at interval of ranging from 4-6 weeks.Treatment success defined as complete regression of ROP ,vascularization in Zone 3. Treatment success was observed in 26/30 eyes. Remaining are still being followed up
