Study Design: Prospective interventional Aim: To evaluate OCTA in exudative ARMD (ExARMD) following ranibizumab biosimilar (RaB) Methods: In a study on 36 eyes of 26 ExARMD patients with mean age of 63.9±7.68 years, OCTA parameters were examined after intravitreal RaB. Results: The OCTA showed features like enlarged/distorted FAZ, reduced vascularity, and projection artefact from NSD or scars. The FAZ area, perimeter and circularity were 0.10+-0.1 mm2, 1.48+-0.9 mm and 0.45+-0.1. The vascular density (VD) in SCP was 18.56+-15.79; DCP 4.53+-6.8; outer retina 5.22+-6.6, outer retinal chorio-capillaries 31.22+-15.4; chorio-capillaries 14.25+-12.8; and choroid 23.47+-15.6. Following intravitreal RaB, these changed to 0.15+-0.2 mm2, 1.76+-1.4 mm, and 0.40+-0.1 and 14.33+-14.1, 3.92+-6.3, 3.68+-5.2, 29.86+-15.1, 13.47+-14.3 and 22.89+-17.2 respectively. Conclusion: Intravitreal RaB did not cause a reduction in FAZ area and perimeter or an improvement in FAZ circularity and VD.
