Abstract
PURPOSE
To determine visual outcome & IOP control following trabeculectomy with SICS
METHOD
Hospital based retrospective study done at MOH & RIO from 1stApril 2022 to 30thApril 2023.Patients who had significant cataract with glaucoma & failed to respond to medical management of glaucoma are included in study. After taking informed consent, comprehensive ocular examination was done, patients posted for SICS with trabeculectomy. Patients followed up on 15 days & 1st,2nd,3rd month
RESULTS
134pts(204eyes) underwent SICS with trabeculectomy
70pts (31 B/L),58pts (34 B/L),6pts (05 B/L) had POAG, PACG,NTG respectively
Mean preop IOP in mm Hg was 26.32 in POAG, 32.74 in PACG, 20.12 in NTG respectively. Mean preop vision was 4/60
Postop IOP after 15days 21.52,21.11,19.05 & on 1st month 20.31,19.32,18.65mm Hg & 3rd month 14.50,18.34,15.20mm Hg in POAG, PACG, NTG respectively. Mean post op vision 6/24
