Abstract

53 year old female presented with complaints frequent episodes of painful blind eye since 6 months.O/E:Hyperpigmentation of skin over forehead, cheek and temple in the left side of face.Vision:RE:6/36,LE:PL+.Ophthalmic examination revealed ocular melanocytosis with hyperpigmented scleral nodules present in superior & inferior quadrants.Anterior segment shows diffuse conjunctival congestion with corneal edema and irregularity in anterior chamber depth with hyphema.A florid NVI was present.Posterior synechiae+ in 6-8 clock hours with ectropion uveae.Pupil was irregular and not reacting to light.Eye felt hard on palpation and confirmed a digitally high IOP.B -scan showed large hyperluecent superonasal mass at the equatorial region. MRI confirmed a ciliary body melanoma with no extraocular extension ,LFT and CECT revealed metastasis to Liver.Enucleation was done and histopathology revealed mixed cell type with intracytoplasmic melanocytes.The patient is being followed up for chemotherapy
