Abstract
Study design:
Prospective, cross-section.
Purpose:
Remidio-Visionix VX650 is a multi-modal device, measures up to 24 parameters, including non-contact air-puff tonometry (NCT). This study compares IOP measured using VX650 and GAT.
Methods:
All participants underwent comprehensive eye examination along with IOP using GAT and VX650. Bland-Altman (BA) analysis was done to evaluate the agreement between GAT and VX650.
Results:
291 right eyes, from 291 patients’ data were included. Mean age(± SD) was 54.98±14.18 years. Mean IOP(±SD) with GAT: 16.38mmHg(4.98) and VX650: 16.15mmHg(5.3). The mean difference (95% LOA) for GAT–VX650 was -0.23mmHg(-9.16 to 9.62).
Conclusion:
The IOP measured with VX650 values were comparable to GAT values. VX650 has an added advantage over other NCT tonometers as it measures 24 different parameters along with IOP, CCT, ACD and irido-corneal angle which are used in glaucoma evaluation.
