Abstract

Goldenhar syndrome also known as oculoauriculo vertebral dysplasia has wide range of clinical manifestations including craniofacial,vertebral,cardiac,ophthalmic,renal and CNS.
Prevalence ranging 1:3500 to 1:7000 live births. Male:female ratio 3:2.

Case history – A 20 year old male came with complaints of irritation and foreign body sensation of right eye since 1 week. He gives a history of right upper lid defect and left eye nodule like lesion since birth. No history of any other systemic diseases
Visual acuity – OD-6/6pNIP 0S-6/12 NIP
O/E Anterior segment right eye – upper lid coloboma
Cornea – exposure keratitis+
Pupil – 3 mm reacting to light
Left eye- limbal dermoid at 5 o clock position
Pupil-3mm reacting to light
Both eye Fundus- normal
Pre auricular tag present both ears
ENT and Cardiology opinion to be obtained
