Abstract

We are reporting a case of 65 year old male, already known case of neovascular glaucoma secondary to CRVO. This patient has rare occurrence of right eye neovascularisation of posterior capsule( NVPC). NVPC is a rare occurrence characterised by vascular proliferation behind the posterior capsule causing opacification and decreased visual acuity. In any ischemic pathology of eye the Neovascularisation of iris starts from the pupillary margins but we hardly get any data about the pattern of Neovascularisation. In our case the Neovascularisation of Posterior capsule along with iris follows a upside down pattern. After giving intravitreal injection the Neovascularisation has totally subsided. To conclude Neovascularisation of Posterior capsule is rare occurrence which can have a pattern.
