FP1275 : Iridocorneal Endothelial Syndrome(ICE): Case Report of Essential Progressive Iris Atrophy

Abstract

A male patient of age 40 years , C/o redness, watering , pain and photophobia in right eye since 3 months,decreased vision in right eye started noted at 27 years of age,h/o multiple episodes of redness in right eye, for which medication used for symptomatic relief , vision in right eye CF 2 metres with conjuctival congestion, Conjunctivilization of cornea 7-9 o clock position, with macular opacification extending from 4 to 11 o clock position, iridocorneal contact from 4 to 10 o clock position,anterior chamber was irregular,Atrophic patches on iris, iris atrophic holes (full thickness) at 11, 2 ,4 o clock position,pupil with Correctopia, not reacting to light, lens was clear, Optic disc was normal with 0.7 cupping ,macula was normal, with IOP of 27 mm Hg, Gonioscopy in right eye shows synechial closure, abnormal specular microscopy in right eye with typical ICE cells. left eye , anterior and posterior segments, gonioscopy, specular microscopy was normal.
