Abstract

A 48 years old male presented to us in the OPD with chief complaints of Diminution of vision in right eye for 2 months while in left eye for 15 days. Diminution of vision was gradually progressive and painless in nature. On dilated fundus examination OD- serpiginous (snakelike) yellow grey geographic patches of chorioretinal lesion present in peripapillary region extending to macula
OS yellow grey patch of active choroiditis lesion on macula associated with surrounding retinal edema. On Optical Coherence tomography OD-increased reflectivity along with disruption of outer retinal bands in subfoveal region.OS- serous pigment epithelial detachment with sub retinal fluid collection.
Treatment-Oral prednisolone Img/kg body wt in slow tapering dose
Eyedrop predforte 2 hourly followed by slow tapering
