FP1044 : Agreement and Precision of Anterior Corneal Power Measurements Obtained Using Three Instruments

Abstract

Seventy healthy eyes were included in this cross-sectional observational study. Observer 1 and 2, obtained the keratometric values of each eye of a subject from KR 800 autokeratometer, OA-2000 optical biometer and Sirius Oculyzer topographer in the same order. K1, K2, As and Af was noted down. J0 and J45 vectors were calculated using the Astigmatic vector formula. Agreement between instruments was analysed by LoA. An instrument was considered precise if it had least standard deviation of its Km(K mean), J0 and J45 vector values. Repeatability and reproducibility was analysed using Intra Class-correlation Co-efficient (ICC). Analysis of data didn’t show agreement of K values between the three instruments. Of all the three, Sirius Oculyzer had the least standard deviation and hence most precise for both K1 and K2 values. The repeatability and reproducibility for K values was excellent for OA 2000 (ICC >0.998). Repeatability and reproducibility of vectors J0 and J45 was good for OA 2000
