Abstract
Increasing quality of life & decreasing postoperative complications have been driving forces behind development of conjunctiva-sparing MIGS. GATT is MIGS that disarm resistance from the TM and restore a more natural aqueous outflow. GATT is a versatile procedure that has shown promising outcomes in the glaucoma spectrum ranging from advanced POAG to Juvenile glaucoma and even angle closure glaucoma. It can be performed safely in advanced POAG with split fixation where the fear of snuff out looms ahead.Hypotony is another dreaded complication, especially in Juvenile glaucoma and angle closure glaucoma. The safety of this procedure is appealing in such scenarios. This video bouquet showcases GATT being performed in complex situations of advanced glaucoma , Juvenile glaucoma, and a combined GSL with GATT and phacoemulsification in Angle-closure glaucoma.
