Abstract
Study design:Retrospective interventional case series
Purpose :To assess clinical presentation of orbital venolymphatic malformation patients and to evaluate outcome of injection bleomycin.
Methods: 7 patients of venolymphatic malformationwho underwent injections of bleomycin from january 2021 to june 2023.
Imaging guided injection of reconstituted bleomycin was done within lesion
and repeated 4 weekly based on response.
Outcomes were based on reduction in size of lesion. And complications noted.
Result :Of 7 patients, 71 % were females.
Age were between 2.5 to 20 years.
Orbitopalpebral was common location.
Two sessions of mean 8 IU bleomycin was injected.
Mild ,moderate and severe proptosis found in 66%, 16.66% and16.66% of patients with acceptable resolution in all patients.
Conclusion:Orbital venolymphatic malformation mostly presents with lid
swelling and proptosis and
easy to inject with
significant reduction of lesion facilitating
quick postoperative recovery.
