Penetrating keratoplasty is called an open-sky procedure, after trephining off the diseased cornea&before suturing of the donor button the intraocular contents are completely exposed to the atmospheric pressure.Case Series,We describe a novel technical adaptation during trephining &excision of host cornea,‘partial open sky technique’ technique has been used in our centre while performing triple procedure/PK. The technique was introduced as a novel step during triple procedure done by a single surgeon frm Jan -Sep 2023. 27 cases were operated, Though of short span &with minimal cases, we believe, adaptation of this technique can help cornea surgeons deal with management of Vitreous push, Lens, Iris prolapse in a more effective manner. The tissue can be immediately used to close the wound in case signs of expulsion are encountered during open sky prodedures
