Abstract

27year old girl came to the eye OPD for regular ophthalmic checkup.H/o frequent headache on and off. H/o spectacle usage since 14years of age.Known case of seizure disorder and not on treatment.Head to toe examination shows cutaneous angiofibroma over cheeks,collagenous nevi over trunk and thigh.Ocular examination reveals BCVA in BE 6/18p-2.00Dsph6/6.SLE of BE Anterior segments-Normal.Color vision and fields were Normal.Fundus examination of BE shows single flat non calcified translucent lesion of 1/2 disc diameter with smooth surface present in inferotemporal quadrant suggestive of retinal hamartoma.OCT of BE-Round hyper reflective masses within nerve fibre layer that extends deeper to compress the underlying retinal layer.FFA of BE-Well defined hyperfluorescence lesion of 1/2 disc diameter in inferotemporal quadrant in late phase.MRI brain was suggested and it shows solitary subependymal nodule in lateral ventricle.Above findings are in favourable of diagnosing tuberous sclerosis.
