Abstract

Tuberculous Osteomyelitis of the Skull Base Presenting as Lateral Rectus Palsy was seen in a female of 22 year old who had been on ATT for the past 4 months. Her only presenting complains were that of inability to move her left eye laterally, diplopia in lateral position of eyes and mild headache. The reports like CSF ADA and MRI Brain and Orbit were done which were diagnostic. The reports had shown that the patient had tuberculous osteomyelitis of the skull base and Hydrocortisone injections were started as the main line of treatment. The patients condition improved within 5 days.
