Abstract

This patient presented to ophthalmology opd with complaints of drooping of right eyelids since 1 week, stiffening of upper and lower limbs, diplopia since 4-5 days, slurred speech and blurring of vision since 4-5 days. Both eye pseudophakic.Patient was a known case of (uncontrolled) DM since 2 years on OHAs. On examination OU BCVA was 6/9(p). Eyelids- ptosis was noted. Pupils were non-reactive to light, extra ocular movements were compromised. Tongue deviation to left side was noted. Examination prompted towards 3 rd nerve palsy, but patient also had complaints of diplopia and pain in both eyes,blood investigations pointed towards prolactinoma; thus MRI was done; reports stated 2×2.3×2.7 cm well defined lesion involving sellar and suprasellar lesion with widening of sella Turcica. Patient was accidentally diagnosed with carcinoma prostrate.
