FP0924 : Graft related Complications of Pterygium Excision Surgery with CAG(Autologous blood) and Management.

Abstract

Study Design:A Case Series( 3 Cases)
Purpose: To determine the Graft related Complications of Pterygium Excision Surgery with Conjunctival Autograft (Autologous blood) and their Management.
Methods:This Study had been done in MAIMRE, Agroha, Hisar, Haryana from Nov 2021to May 2022. About100 patients of 30-60 years of age had undergone Prerygium Excision Surgery With CAG( Blood).
Results: Only 3 patients developed Graft related Complications.
Ist Case: 55 years old male developed Scleral thinning.
2nd case: 35 year male had Postop Graft Oedema.
3rd case: 30 year old female had Postop Graft Displacement.
All these complications had been managed with Medical Management, No further Surgical intervention Required to mange these Complications.
Conclusion: Prerygium Excision Surgery with Serum Autograft is very common and cheaper technique of Managing Prerygium ( No suture related Complication, Nor costly Fibrin glue) and Complications related to Serum Autograft can be Managed Easily.
