FP0426 : Treatment outcomes of Ocular Surface Squamous Neoplasia (OSSN) with Mitomycin-C.

Abstract

Ocular surface squamous neoplasia (OSSN) is a term used to describe neoplastic epithelial abnormalities of conjunctiva and cornea, ranging from Squamous Dysplasia to Invasive Squamous Cell Carcinoma. We report three cases of OSSN who presented with fleshy pinkish growth over nasal conjunctiva. All of them were treated by surgical excision of mass, application of mitomycin C over tumour bed, cryotherapy of tumour free margins and conjunctival autografting in two patients and amniotic membrane transplantation in one patient. Post operatively, all three of them were prescribed topical steroids and antibiotic combination along with topical mitomycin C. All the patients responded well with the treatment with no recurrence on follow up
