Abstract

Having an intact capsulorhexis in cataract surgery, both manual small incision cataract surgery and phacoemulsification is mandatory.
Capsulorhexis in white intumescent cataracts is very challenging due to raised intralenticular pressure in these cases, if not done carefully may leads to capsulorhexis extension and Argentinian flag sign.
We are here presenting a new technique of capsulorhexis in these cataracts.
