Abstract
6 months Old Female child was referred to us from local ophthalmologist when parents presented to the clinic with white reflex in LE noticed since 1 month. On examination child had Leucocorea in LE. B scan showed exudative RD with no mass lesion. MRI was done to rule out Retinoblastoma. Patient undergone EUA, due to Complex Bullous Exudative RD, surgical intervention was Planned (modified External drainage of SRF). SRF was drained by controlled active aspiration using 25 G valved cannula with Infusion-on under visualisation(BIOM). 25G Core vitrectomy done, and the attachment of vitreous membrane to posterior capsule was released. SRF was sent for Cytologic evaluation. Temporal multiple telangiectatic sausage shaped vessels with subretinal exudates noted. Abnormal vessels are Lasered using Green laser, Globe was closed under Air. The procedure concluded with Intravitreal Bevacizumab injection.
