Abstract
We report a one-eyed case of 65-year-old male presented with diminution of vision in his left eye. He was operated elsewhere for retinal detachment four months ago. Patient was aphakic and fundus examination showed total recurrent retinal detachment with PVR grade C with napkin ring around disc. Left eye pre-operative BCVA was 1/60. Trypan blue dye assisted PVR membrane are peeled off and subretinal band was removed through the retinotomy site with the help of forceps. Retina was settled down after fluid gas exchange.Then, 360degree endolaser was done and 5000 cSt silicon oil was used as tamponade. Ando PI was done and anterior chamber was formed with BSS.We prescribe face down positioning in the post-operative period. Post-operatively at 1 week, the retina was completely attached and BCVA improved to 6/36.
